Roadhouse in the House

Texas Roadhouse dove into 2020 riding a wave of YOY growth, but it all came crashing down in March of 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States. We were asked to quickly drive awareness and sales of Texas Roadhouse’s enhanced to-go service and help customers bring home the legendary in-restaurant experience they love.

The result was Roadhouse in the House – a multi-sensory social media and digital campaign designed to bring every aspect of the brand into the homes of customers.

We launched a paid social media campaign to walk customers through – and drive them to – completing to-go orders online. Just eating the food doesn’t do the Texas Roadhouse experience justice so we used Pinterest to reveal the brand’s top-secret cocktail recipes for customers to recreate at home. We also curated and promoted a Jukebox Jams Spotify playlist so our customers could listen to all the classic country hits they hear at the restaurant and bring the ambiance together.

As we all know, the pandemic was the worst of times and the worst of times. But we were proud to be able to rise to the occasion, keep customers engaged, and celebrate some wins.

Numbers that are yeehaw worthy:

388% increase in to-go orders

91% comment-level brand advocacy

10% lift in online conversation

We had a little fun, too.
